Continuing Education Requirements:

After earning your pharmacy technician certification, you still need to continue your education. Your formal education won?t be over. You must be updated with the new medicines developed every day.? So, you need to renew your pharmacy technician certification every two year. This requires 20 hours of continuing education courses. Continuing education requirements can involve the completion of courses, training, video instruction, or reviewing pharmacy journals. You will need to complete the continuing education requirements outside of you normal working hours.
