TORONTO -- Disney teen star Selena Gomez is to co-host the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards next month.
? Organizers gave no word on whether Gomez will bring Justin Bieber along for the June 19 Toronto gig, indicating only the Wizards of Waverly Place star can hold her own in Canada.
? ?Selena Gomez is a bona fide star. Her films and TV show are seen around the world and her songs are topping the charts,? Sheila Sullivan, executive producer of the Canadian music video awards, said Monday.
? Gomez will next appear in the Fox feature film Monte Carlo, alongside Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.
? The teen star will also share the spotlight in Toronto with Lady Gaga, who is to perform at the upcoming 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards, marking her first return here after in March sharing the concert stage with ten year-old Youtube sensation Maria Aragon and performing the duet "Born This Way.?
