Off the Bench: Goalie turns back on penalty kick to protest call

Hey goalie, I don?t think you?re doing it right! That?s backup keeper Remus Danalache of Romanian Liga 1 club Vointa Sibiu, turning his back on a penalty shot in protest of a horrible series of calls (he claims) during their match against Petrolul Ploiesti.

I?m not going to get into the specifics because I can?t tell you if the calls were warranted or not, but suffice it to say that Vointa Sibiu felt that they got jobbed for pretty much the entire match. VS was trailing 3-1 in added time when this occurred. Apparently there?s a rule that the goalie has to be facing the kicker on a penalty kick, so they re-kicked it ? this time with Danalache standing like a statue with his arms outstretched (so great if he would have blocked it anyway).
